Description from the seller
A beautiful direct-drive turntable from the small Italian high-end manufacturer Teksonor. The company was founded in the late 1970s by a group of four former Lenco technicians. It was established with substantial capital and excellent technical expertise. The company boasted a highly precise machine park that was anything but ordinary. Unfortunately, the first CD players then appeared, and the company had to close after only a few years.
The plinth, platter and high-quality tonearm were Teksonor in-house design with a very clever, low-resonance headshell. After loosening a screw on the tonearm tube, it can be slightly rotated and moved to adjust the azimuth and overhang. The drive motor was likely supplied by Technics.
The very attractive wooden plinth displays typical Italian elegance; it's truly a gem. A Goldring E3 moving magnet cartridge in good condition is mounted. I've included a copy of the Italian manual.
The turntable is fully functional, and the speed remains stable.
The TKS MT-301 features a direct drive transmission system plus a high degree of quality finishing.
The platter, cast in a special aluminium alloy, measures 320 mm in diameter and weighs about 1,4 Kg.
The base is constructed of several layers of particle board which, along with the minimizing effect provided by our anti-vibration feet, virtually eliminates any resonance caused by acoustic vibrations.
In addition, about 1.6 Kg. of ferrous material has been added to the base to provide almost uniform weight distribution on all four feet (in effect the center of gravity of the mass which coincides with the geometric center of gravity).
The cover is in high quality acrylic material.

I will pack the turntable professionally (remove tonearm weight, lift platter out of the platter bearing), enclose it very well with cushioning and secure protection.
