Description from the seller

Rare and splendid antique bottle with a swiveling head.

The head unscrews to allow filling the bottle. Once screwed back on, it pivots to open and close the flow of the liquid.

Inscriptions: Breveté "SGDG" and "ED"

S.G.D.G. means patent Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement.
This acronym was used in France from 1844 to 1968 and indicates that a patent has been filed but its proper functioning is not guaranteed by the State.
It is found on many objects that generally had innovative features for the era.

"ED" is the signature of the inventor.

The style places it in the 19th century.

Bottle made of glass, head made of tin.
H 18 cm
Ø 6 cm

In perfect working and preservation condition, just two small chips under the bottle.
