Description from the seller

Rajar No. 6 Folding Camera – Vintage bellows camera – ca. 1920 – Collectible object

Description
Offered is a characterful Rajar No. 6 folding camera, a compact bellows camera from the early 20th century (circa 1920).

This model stands out from the more common box cameras due to its elegant folding mechanism with metal scissor construction and the distinctive front plate with the “Rajar No 6” emblem.

The camera is finished in black metal and features a textured front plate. The original bellows are present and contribute to the authentic appearance of this object.

An interesting detail is the text on the inside:
“Only Rajar No 6 spool will fit this camera,” which points to a specific spool system and underscores the originality of this model.

Condition:
- The camera is in good visual condition considering its age.
- Bellows present, with normal signs of use and aging
- Folding mechanism functions and opens/closes correctly
- Lens and front plate present
- Light signs of wear and some oxidation appropriate for the age

Note:
The technical operation (such as shutter and light-tightness) has not been tested. The camera is offered as a collectible object or decorative item.

Features
- Brand: Rajar
- Model: No. 6
- Type: Folding / bellows camera
- Period: circa 1920
- Material: metal and bellows
- Origin: United Kingdom (ascribed)
