These remarkable teeth come from a Mosasaurus, a dinosaur that lived 72 to 75 million years ago.
The Mosasaurus was a dinosaur that lived and ruled the seas; the species was worldwide and could grow up to 20 meters long. Mosasaurs went extinct when a gigantic meteor struck the Earth 66 million years ago.
It was a very active predator with keen vision. The skull and jaws were sturdy in construction, and capable of swallowing almost any other animal or reptile.
