Sekonic L-488 Light meter

The Sekonic Digi-Spot L-488 is a spot exposure meter released in 1985, featuring a silicon photo diode sensor, an alphanumeric display via an external LCD, and a backlit LCD display in the viewfinder. The exposure data shown in the viewfinder are expressed in EV and in aperture (diaphragm), thus avoiding consulting the side LCD screen.

Exposure is measured in the viewfinder at a measurement angle that can vary from 1° to 20°.
The Digi-Spot L-488 includes a flash metering function that requires connection to the flash via the standard PC jack. Flash measurements can only be made in aperture (diaphragm) mode.
