Antique Delft Blue teacanister with silver lid (835/1000, Schoonhoven, sword mark)

Elegant antique teacanister in Delft Blue earthenware, fitted with a handsome Dutch silver lid from Schoonhoven.

The silver lid is richly decorated with a detailed relief of a rural scene with figures, giving the piece a lively and characterful appearance. The earthenware is hand-painted in a classic blue-and-white motif and finished in a stylish hexagonal form.

A special collectible object in which two traditional Dutch crafts come together: Delft pottery and Schoonhoven silver.
