The Sony PS-LX30 is a fully automatic turntable with direct drive that was produced between 1984 and 1987. It is known as a reliable and user-friendly model from the hi-fi era of the 1980s.
Key Specifications:
Drive: Direct drive (Direct Drive) with a brushless BSL motor and FG- servo system for a stable speed.
Operation: Fully automatic, meaning that the arm starts, stops, and returns to the resting position at the push of a button.
Tonearm: Static balanced straight tonearm.
Cartridge: Originally equipped with the Sony VL-43G cartridge and an ND-143G stylus.
Speeds: Supports both 33 1/3 and 45 RPM.
Maintenance and Parts;
Stylus: Replacement styli such as the Tonar 977 or specific Thakker styli are still readily available. Incidentally, this player still has the original stylus.
Extensively tested for operation (dust cover in vintage condition with light imperfections, here and there slightly dull).
