Plastic tray Planeta Vivo, designed by Javier Mariscal C.S.A. Alessi with Laura Polinoro CSA, produced in Italy in 1990–2000, dimensions 38 × 38 × 2 cm, in good used condition with minor age marks and stains.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and rare 1990s tray that stands apart from Alessi's usual stainless steel productions.
This tray is produced in rigid plastic.
Design - Laura Polinoro CSA (Centro Studi Alessi) and Javier Mariscal
Note about CSA Alessi:
The Centro Studi Alessi (CSA) was born in 1990 with a dual mission: to develop theoretical contributions on topics related to objects and to coordinate work with the world of young emerging design that Alessi wished to engage. Entrusted to Laura Polinoro, a young semiologist suggested by Alessandro Mendini, the CSA carried out design workshops practically all over the world. With the CSA, novel approaches to design were experimented with, based on creating scenarios in which multiple disciplines could dialogue, involving professionals around themes not dictated by practical needs, but by subtler, emotional, affective needs. The CSA was closed in 1998
