Enchanting and very rare stylized sitting brown cat, designed in the 1960s by Jaroslav Ježek (1923-2002), the leading sculptor of the prestigious Royal Dux factory. The brown color is very rare and extremely sought after. His original and unmistakable style is known as "Brussels style", because at the 1958 Expo in Brussels, Jaroslav Ježek received two very prestigious awards: the gold medal for porcelain sculpture and the Grand Prix for the porcelain coffee service.
