The opaline glass features a chrome-plated steel base with screw fittings, evoking space-age vessels, in chrome steel.
This opaline lamp is aesthetically beautiful, even when off, white and transparent, nicely crafted on the top.
When lit, it gives a beautiful visual light effect, especially from the top where the light is diffused according to the very particular work of the glass, transparent at that level!
The white color diffuses a soft light (cool to warm depending on the bulb chosen).
Conditions are generally good, signs of wear are minimal.
The glass is in excellent condition, with no cracks, breaks, or chips.
There are tiny scattered oxidation spots on the chrome base and traces of oxidation inside the chrome housing (not visible when the lamp is standing).
These very small pinpoint spots have not progressed over the time I have had it to enjoy it (3 years).
It has new wiring compliant with safety standards with an original E27 socket well preserved. The bulb is not included in the lot, for the safety of the lamp glass during shipping.
