Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two Italian metal lamps from the 1960s–1980s, including a Sputnik table lamp with a red base showing scratches and a space‑age tripod table lamp; both are in working order with dimensions 35 cm high, 15 cm wide and 14 cm deep, featuring two fittings, and the lot will be shipped without a bulb and not outside the European Community.
Description from the seller
We wanted to create a combo of Italian lamps that spans two consecutive decades and represents the evolution of widely used design lighting in the Italian '60s/'80s.
The first is the renowned table lamp commonly referred to as Sputnik, which unfortunately bears signs of scratches (as shown in the photo).
These marks are very visible at the top of the cone, especially because they are on a red/amaranth base. Often other white or gray Sputniks have the same issue, but it doesn’t seem as evident as in ours, which is colorful. It could nevertheless be appealing to those who love the lived-in look or to those who would like to attempt a restoration and obtain a lamp of very high commercial and aesthetic value.
The second is a beautiful yet original space-age table lamp on a tripod.
In its typical vintage red, it remains perfectly intact and functional.
A joint at the base of the shade allows vertical adjustment of the light cone.
Eight holes on the dome keep the area warm and create a distinctive light play.
The three footing legs are detachable.
Light signs of wear compatible with careful and mindful use.
It will be shipped without a bulb.
DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY.
For the Islands we reserve the right to request an additional shipping surcharge, potentially raised by the carriers.
