Genève 18K automatic men’s watch with a 33 mm solid 18K gold case, champagne dial, leather band of normal length, and the movement is automatic, in very good condition with minor signs of wear; no original box, papers or warranty, shipped insured.
Description from the seller
A0000004589
The watch is presented in very good overall condition, standing out for its excellent aesthetic presence and careful conservation, especially considering its age.
The 18K solid gold case maintains a very attractive look, with a uniform and well-preserved shine. There are light signs of superficial use typical of time passing, but without significant knocks or pronounced wear, correctly preserving its original lines and proportions.
The dial, in an elegant champagne tone, is in very good condition, clean and legible, with a light, homogeneous patina that adds vintage character without affecting its aesthetics. The applied indexes and hands retain their integrity, with an appearance suited to the overall piece. The date window is correctly aligned and functional.
The crystal shows good transparency, with possible very small marks from use, not compromising visibility.
The original signed crown is in good condition and matches the set, allowing proper operation of the watch.
The automatic movement has been serviced and is in working order, guaranteeing its operability at the time of sale.
The leather strap is aftermarket (not original), in good functional condition, aesthetically complementing the watch.
In sum, it is a well-preserved piece, ready for use and enjoyment, that maintains its classic and elegant character.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks in fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a period, dry before storing, keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and always handle the mechanism gently.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
