Description from the seller
PANORAMIC/CONDITIONS
Porsche 911 2.4 T Targa (1973), fully restored in every part: chassis brought to zero (no rust whatsoever), engine, gearbox and carburetors completely overhauled, total overhaul of the electrical system, interiors fully restored, mechanics and suspension totally revised, original soft top revised with new interior and exterior lining.
Nitro lacquer paint hand-polished, with no final clear coat.
Original color Light Yellow
Engine and gearbox opened and fully overhauled (approx. 2,500 km covered).
Total overhaul of the carburetors.
The restoration lasted about 7 years (purchased at the end of 2018 and completed in June 2025), bodywork fully restored (see attached photos) and brought to “zero”; no rust traces anywhere on the bodywork.
One German owner (the car was registered in Germany and has two Italian owners).
The “matching number” is considered between the chassis number and the engine number, not always listed on Porsche certificates (attached with photos), as in those years (1960s/1970s) they did not always record them in their internal registers.
All photographic documentation of the complete restoration and all fiscal documentation of the works carried out during the 8 years of restoration are available.
Vehicle in splendid overall condition.
Accessories in addition to those on the Porsche certificate:
- Front and rear stabilizer bars (S series);
- Steel rocker panels (S series);
- Original 38 cm leather steering wheel (RS series);
- Thicker premium carpet (S series);
- Magnesium front brake calipers (S series);
- Original Recaro seats with headrests and central velour;
- Complete original era toolkit bag;
- Blaupunkt vintage-style radio with hands-free, Bluetooth and DAB.
Any verification at Official Porsche Centers.
DOCUMENTATION
Accompanied by Italian documents, instruction booklet, certificate and original Porsche heritage.
Car visible in Palermo, Italy.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
