AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Title: Balcony to the Sea

School: European School (XX)

Style: Impressionist

Technique: Oil on canvas

A landscape of great serenity in composition that presents an elevated view toward the sea from a sloping path, flanked by vegetation and residential architecture. On the left, a partially visible building sits on a rocky, vegetated slope. In the foreground, a winding path leads the eye toward a gate and a small building with a tiled roof, opening to a broad urban panorama that ends at the maritime horizon. The sky, worked with a soft, changing atmosphere, adds depth and luminosity to the whole.

The work responds to an impressionist sensibility in its treatment of natural light, in the capture of the environment, and in the construction of the landscape through a loose but balanced brushstroke. The composition combines architectural and natural elements with an intimate view of the surroundings, highlighting the spatial gradation between the foreground, the distant city, and the sea line. By its chronology, it shows restorations.

Frame: Molded wooden frame in walnut tone, broad and sober in profile, with an inner gilded fillet that enhances the scene and reinforces its visual presence. It presents a classic, elegant, and functional design, in keeping with the landscape aesthetics of the work.

Notes:

The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damage to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.

Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by surcharges due to factors such as being outside a continental territory, or excess dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will in no case cover this surcharge.

Due to border issues with Switzerland we are obliged to inform that shipments with a length or height greater than 1 meter to that destination will not be carried out.

Dimensions: 60 x 81 cm.
