A large French figural mantel clock in excellent condition. The case made of black marble and gilt metal, supported on four legs, surmounted with a classic female figure with lyra in hand.
Dimensions: height - 67,3 cm; width - 18,8 cm; depth - 11,7 cm. Diameter of the dial - 10,3 cm.
Origin: France, 2nd half of the 19th century, Napoleon III (1848-1870) period.
Very good technical quality French 8-day power reserve, two train movement striking full- and half hours on a bell. Stamped with a very low serial number: 624 and pendulum parameters: 4/8. Clock comes with a pendulum, winding key is missing. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, gilt bronze star with flowers in the middle. The dial is protected by a glass in gilt bronze frame.
Conditions report: case in excellent condition, no missing parts, no damages visible. Minor use- and age related wear, natural patina. Dial in perfect condition. Movement in working order, recently overhauled by a clock-master. Check pictures for details.
