Seiko is a luxury watch brand founded in Japan in the 1880s. It offers timepieces at the cutting edge of technology, renowned worldwide for their style and performance. In the 1960s, Seiko made a name for itself on the international sports timing stage with a whole new generation of high-precision equipment called Prospex Speedtimer. Today, it reissues this model, which represents its professional heritage in timing. Launched under reference SSC943P1, this watch combines modern technology with a retro-inspired aesthetic. It is paired with a round stainless steel case that is solid and durable. Silver in color, it features a brushed finish on the surfaces and a polished edge for a sophisticated and timeless look. It is presented with a diameter of 41.40 mm and a thickness of 13 mm, well thought out dimensions for comfortable and practical wear. The perfectly round bezel is equipped with a green insert marked by a tachymeter scale for practicality and increased visibility. Unidirectional, it surrounds a domed sapphire crystal that provides a bold presence and a vintage look that is highly appreciated. Protecting the dial from scratches, it is anti-reflective, ensuring excellent readability of the readouts. On the right side, there is a knurled crown that ensures adjustment of the hours, minutes, and date. On either side of it are the push-buttons, carefully brushed, used to operate the chronograph. All of this is paired with a screwed case back that promises 10 ATM water resistance.

This model is powered by a Swiss-made solar quartz movement. More precisely, it is the V192 caliber, delivering indisputable performance and an impressive accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. It provides a power reserve of six months, and if the watch is near the end of its charge, the seconds hand will jump every two seconds. Powered by any light source, this movement offers a reliable analog display, a date function, and a chronograph complication.

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, i.e., 100 meters. We are dealing with a truly water-resistant model! This stylish model is therefore ready to happily join you in a aquatic universe. From puddles to the pool, this timepiece will tolerate swimming without complaint! Showering, bathing, and sports swimming are not a problem for it.

The bracelet of this watch is very comfortable. It is made of black bovine leather and is enhanced by green stitching and a micro-perforated finish that strengthens its vintage look. Measuring 21 mm in width at the lugs, it comes with a simple deployant clasp with sturdy push-buttons that will give you peace of mind when the watch remains securely on the wrist.
