Two bronze ritual objects from Asia, titled Phurba and Vajra, dating to ca. 1990–2000, in good used condition with signs of aging and spots, dimensions approximately 14.5 cm high, 2.5 cm wide and 2.5 cm deep.

A vajra (Tibetan: dorje) is one of the most important ritual objects in Tibetan Buddhism and has a deep symbolic meaning.
Symbolism:
The vajra symbolizes immutability and unchanging nature
it represents the absolute, indestructible nature of reality
The word "vajra" literally means "diamond" or "thunderbolt" in Sanskrit
It stands for spiritual power, wisdom and enlightenment
Symmetrical shape with a central knob and protruding points at both ends
Traditionally a vajra has 5, 9 or more points (ribs) on each end
The central knob represents absolute truth.
Usage:
Used during rituals and ceremonies in conjunction with a ghanta (ritual bell)
The vajra is held in the right hand (symbolizing method/compassion)
The bell is held in the left hand (symbolizing wisdom)
Together they represent the union of wisdom and compassion.
Spiritual meaning:
Represents masculine energy and the active aspects of the path to enlightenment
Symbolizes the indestructible nature of Buddha-consciousness
Is viewed as a weapon that destroys ignorance
