Five Collectible Designer Hutschenreuther Lufthansa Airline porcelain coasters Made in Germany Condition: Excellent Diameter: 10cm Two coasters by designer Kurt Kranz. Two coasters by designer Eugenio Carmi. One coaster by designer Arthur Secunda. Dating from the late 1980s, this set of four ceramic coasters is in perfect condition. Produced for Lufthansa by Hutschenreuther's Meissner Edition in Hamburg, Germany. The notable 1980s and 1990s Lufthansa First Class porcelain coasters were designed by several artists, including Yves Galgon (1988), Eugenio Carmi (late 1980s), Kurt Kranz (1989), and Taghi Tabrizian-Jashani (1990). These, like the 2 Lufthansa First Class Porcelain Coasters, Yves Galgon '88, were produced by Hutschenreuther’s Meissner Edition in Germany. Key Designers and Features: Yves Galgon (1988): Known for abstract, vibrant designs on porcelain coasters. Contributed to the colorful ceramic art coaster set, as seen in this 1980s ceramic art coaster set for Lufthansa.
