Rare Art Deco single coffee service with crystal glass mounted in a silvered metal frame, produced by Val Saint Lambert in collaboration with Wiskemann for Hôtel des Colonies, Belgium, circa 1920; height 22 cm, filter diameter 7.5 cm, weight 498 g, in good condition with minor aging traces.

Rare Individual Coffee Service "Art Deco" – Wiskemann & Val Saint Lambert – Provenance: Hôtel des Colonies (Belgium) – Circa 1920
Description of the object: An exceptional set for individual coffee service (percolation filter and its glass), witness to the splendor of Belgian hotel hospitality in the interwar period. This "sideboard" piece was designed for the prestigious Hôtel des Colonies, a renowned institution in central Brussels.
This item is the result of a collaboration between the two flagship luxuries of Belgium at the time:
• The Vessel: Clear crystal glass from the Val Saint Lambert factory, signed, fitting perfectly into the mount.
• The Filter and Mount: In high-quality silver-plated metal, bearing the assay mark of Wiskemann, official supplier to the Belgian Court.
• Marking: Hotel engraving "Colonies" around the rim of the mount.
