Authentic Dagestan Kilim (former USSR) with a flat weave and visible wefts, made with a slit-weave technique, in good condition; motifs and colors unusual for the canonical Azerbaijani production; decoration with red and blue bands and barred square panels featuring an arrow-like motif and rows of dentate leaves on a black background; wool-on-wool weave; dimensions 136 x 260 cm; circa 1940.
