Description from the seller
GERMANY. Muldenhütten. 200 Mark. 1923.
- Value: 200 Mark.
- Year: 1923.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: DEUTSCHES REICH · 200 MARK · 1923 · E, with stylized branches on both sides of the denomination. Reverse: EINIGKEIT UND RECHT UND FREIHEIT, the German eagle of the Republic with wings extended.
- Grade: MS65 (NGC).
Aluminum coin from the Weimar Republic period, issued during the German hyperinflation of 1923. It features a sober and functional design, characteristic of emergency issues, with clear typography and well-proportioned details on the obverse and the strong-lined republican eagle on the reverse. The specimen shows full relief, excellent definition in feathers and legends, and clean fields with uniform original luster. Outstanding condition for the type, with minimal surface marks and a visual appeal well above the average for these issues.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make absolutely clear that I ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
