Lot of four Ravelli Pottery vases from the Netherlands, Valkenburg ZH, dating from 1960–1970, in mid-century modern style, made of stoneware, hand-formed, in good condition with small signs of age and staining.

1. Jaap Ravelli vase of glazed red birch-bark,
Dutch, 1960s: numbered 193
Dimensions: W: 13 cm H: 16 cm
in red and dark glaze with birch-bark texture.
Signed Ravelli on the bottom.
2. Vintage Ravelli vase
Made by the Dutch potter Jaap Ravelli
Model: 96
Dimensions: Diameter: 11 cm Height: 16 cm
Marked on the bottom
3 Ravelli birch-bark vase,
Ceramic with a special engobe layer for the birch-bark texture.
Hand-turned earthenware with a distinctive birch-bark motif and a dark brown edge.
Dimensions: 28/10 cm. Numbered 94-4
4 In good condition Ravelli triangular vase, cream colored

All vases are in good undamaged condition.
Jaap Ravelli (1916-2011) was a prominent Dutch ceramicist of the twentieth century,
active from 1947 to 1977 in Valkenburg.
His workshop produced both dinnerware and art ceramics.
He played a leading role in the development of the mid-century style in ceramics in the Netherlands.
His work is collected extensively.
