Vintage, Chinese style wicker storage box with brass fittings and a woven rattan outer covering over a wooden frame. These boxes were popular as decorative storage boxes or storage solutions in the mid to late 20th century, especially in the 1970s.It has a wire braid made using a special process and is guided along a beech wood frame, patented in 1917 by Marshall Burns Lloyd.
It is practical for storing any kind of things, creates a rustic effect, and is a timeless piece.
