White jade necklace beads from ancient Burmese culture, dating to the Second Millennium AD, in good condition, height 52 cm, authentic/original, acquired in 1995 in Mandalay, Myanmar, from the Dr. István Zelnik collection.

White jade necklace beads from the ancient Burmese culture.
Second Millennium AD .
In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler and repolished, so its surface is shiny and smooth, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting,carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface. The holes have been enlarged in modern time to make the piece wearable.
Purchased mid 90's in Mandalay/Burma by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
