Magnificent Fontignac No. 24 covered casserole, made in France, in the highly sought-after Sahara finish, with the warm beige and brown tones typical of culinary design from the 1970s.
This piece perfectly illustrates the know-how of the French foundries of the era: clean lines, balanced proportions, and thick cast iron ensuring robustness and remarkable cooking performance. Its refined vintage aesthetics make it as much a high-performance cooking utensil as a beautiful decorative object.
The original lid features condensation bumps, an ingenious system that naturally redistributes moisture during cooking for tenderer, tastier dishes.
