Please note the below description and supplied photos carefully. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a well preserved example of a unique limited edition Irish microbrand watch. Photos do not do justice to the gorgeous aventurine dial.

THE SÓLÁS STARLIGHT

The Sólás Starlight is a slim dress-oriented microbrand watch from Sólás Watches, best known for pairing a “starfield” aventurine dial with an exhibition back that shows a micro-rotor automatic movement. Design cues are deliberately Irish, including the dial text “deartha in Éirinn” (“designed in Ireland”). It utilises a Hangzhou micro rotor movement also used by Baltic in their MR range.

- Dial** layout: aventurine “star” dial, date at 3, small seconds (off-centre, ~7–8 o’clock)
- Movement: Hangzhou cal. 5000A micro-rotor automatic, 28,800 vph (4Hz) and 42h power reserve (the movement offers hand winding but no hacking)
- Straps**: three straps are supplied in this package; 1. black salmon skin 2. black horween strap with navy blue side stitch 3. premium long navy saffiano aftermarket strap from StrapsCo

CONDITION

The watch is in excellent functional condition. The case and crystals are flawless to the naked eye. The movement hand winds and sets easily, with crisp change of the date within minutes of midnight. The crown is operating smoothly and quickset date function works without issue. The movement is currently running exceptionally well, please see Timegrapher photo.

Please note that the sub seconds ring is missing from the dial. This is visible in photos but has no effective functional impact.

Please also note that the original supplied salmon strap is heavily worn. However the original supplied horween strap is unused and is enclosed with the Sólás Deployant clasp. The watch is currently attached to a long Premium Saffiano leather strap that compliments the watch well and has only been worn a handful of times. The combination of shorter horween and longer saffiano strap means all wrist sizes will be able to use the watch out of the box.
