Pair of Akai SW-TM3 bookshelf speakers manufactured in 1981 in Japan, in excellent condition and fully functional, serial number 81004-10737, 2-way system with a 16 cm woofer and 5 cm tweeter, 8 ohms, 40 W max input, 89 dB/W/m sensitivity, sealed enclosure with rear terminals and wall-mount option, dimensions about 30–35 cm high, 18–22 cm wide and 15–20 cm deep, weight about 8 kg, includes no extras.

Excellent pair of Akai SW-TM3 speakers made in Japan in the 1980s! These compact 2-way bookshelf speakers are a classic of Japanese vintage audio. They sound very good and clean, as has been recently proven. Ideal for a retro hi-fi setup, desktop setup, shelf, or simply to enjoy a warm, nostalgic sound with a touch of the golden years of audio.

• Sealed enclosure

Design and finish: Elegant silver-gray box with a black fabric grille. Clean, minimalist look typical of Akai. The original labels are intact, with the serial number identical on both speakers (81004-10737) and the indication “Made in Japan.”
Condition: The speakers are in good overall condition, with normal signs of use and age (minor nicks and wear on the edges, visible in the photos). They have been recently tested and sound very good. The drivers respond correctly and deliver a balanced and pleasing sound. Ready to enjoy without the need for immediate repairs.
