Very handsome plaque with a hand-painted canary in a birdcage from the early period of the Tichelaar porcelain factory in Makkum.
The back is signed with the logo with the double T that was used in the period 1880-1895.
An early example indeed and in good condition.
Dimensions: height 25.5 cm. width 26 cm. thickness 1 cm.
Condition: this is very good considering its age. Slight wear spots along the edge. See the photos.
Will be packed in a double box.

Zeer fraaie plaquette met een handgeschilderde kanarie in vogelkooi uit de vroege periode van de plateelbakkerij Tichelaar in Makkum. 
De achterzijde is gesigneerd met het logo met de dubbele T dat gebruikt werd in de periode 1880-1895.
Een vroeg exemplaar dus en in een goede staat.
Afmetingen: hoogte 25,5 cm. breedte 26 cm. dikte 1 cm. 
Conditie: deze is zeer goed gezien de leeftijd. Lichte slijtage plekjes langs de rand. Zie de foto’s.
Wordt verpakt in een dubbele doos.
