No. 6 splendid Italian-made Throne Chairs (second half of the 19th century)

Set of 6 imposing antique solid walnut chairs carved, with embossed leather back, secured with iron studs and decorated by a noble coat of arms.
Column-turned supports, carved and turned, shaped frieze in solid walnut carved, resting on unusual turned legs with lion’s paw feet.

Unique pieces of their kind, with superior detail and grandeur, rare specimens.

In overall excellent condition, bearing the passage of time with normal signs of wear considering the era, which however do not compromise the beauty, form, functionality, and integrity of these unique pieces.
