Globe bar - Wood - Italian World Map Bar

A globe bar forming a piece of service furniture, resting on a turned wooden pedestal with four feet joined by a stretcher, finished with brass casters. The circular top is decorated with an antique world map in the style of 16th–17th century cartography, with mythological scenes and allegorical figures.

The globe opens into two parts; the inside of the lid is adorned with a rich polychrome decoration depicting mythological and allegorical figures in clouded skies, while the lower part is decorated with an antique globe. The interior is arranged to hold bottles and glasses, with a central circular compartment.
