Description from the seller

(Because Catawiki has translated the text incorrectly, there is often nonsense, or an incorrect choice of words.

Display cabinet from around 1660.
Also called the Utrecht cabinet, but there is no difference with Dutch display cabinets.
Quarter-sawn oak; the grain direction makes the wood's vessels come into view.
This gives that beautiful pattern in the grain.
Here and there a lighter type of wood used as contrast.
Also in the moldings. Beautiful Renaissance style.
The moldings, the arches above the doors are borrowed from the triumphal arches of classical antiquity.
Under the doors a wide drawer.
The sides also feature that fine execution with moldings.
Artfully carved lion heads in the crown.
The interior has two original shelves.
The lock is original and the key works.

Transport:
In the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, France and Spain we transport the furniture with packing blankets and place it inside. The other countries on a wooden pallet in sturdy cardboard and splash-water-resistant film up to the doorstep.
For islands we charge a higher rate, delivery is to the door, please assistance because the driver is alone, the driver may not go inside or up the stairs.
The carrier will contact you to arrange delivery.
He has your phone number and email address.

>>> These transports usually do not have a track-and-trace system.
I enter a dummy code into Catawiki's computer system.
You cannot track the shipment.
Take photos of the packaging on receipt to rule out damage during transport.
Usually it is not possible to ship within three days, you may ignore Catawiki's messages.
Usually it is between three and seven days in transit.
You approve and sign for proper receipt with the driver.
Any damage you must report directly in this form.
That is required for the insurance.
Damage that occurs afterwards is at your own risk.
An 'empty' form indicates good receipt.
The carrier will call you to arrange delivery.
You are free to arrange the transport yourself as well; please note that in your payment to Catawiki.

For countries outside Europe you must pay additional customs charges and there are extra costs for clearance and administration. For non-European countries I provide one amount for convenience, but amounts can vary.
I am happy to inform you. Please contact me.
