R. Nogueras is a contemporary artist whose pictorial research focuses on this new series in the human figure understood as a space of friction between the private and the visible. His work, mainly executed in oil and occasionally integrated with mixed media, positions itself in a dialogue between the painting tradition and the visual languages inherent to the digital environment. From there, he approaches issues linked to surveillance, constant exposure, desire conditioned by the media, and the construction of identity in the context of contemporary networks.
His practice has surpassed the local sphere, forming part of international exhibitions and circuits in countries such as Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, as well as in various cities in the United States. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with several distinctions that support the solidity of his visual discourse and his ability to transform current problems into images of high symbolic charge.
