Pair of hand-forged wrought-iron wall sconces in the shape of heraldic crowned lions rampant, bronze colour, dating to the 20th century, with integrated drip bowls and candle pins, in good antique condition.

Executed in flat-forged iron with cut-out silhouettes, wrought tails and manes, and original integrated drip trays with candle pins.
The candle sconces form a mirror-image pair, originally intended for placement on either side of a fireplace, gate, or wall. Magnificent artisanal craftsmanship with a beautiful, aged patina.
In good antique condition, with signs of use and light oxidation appropriate to age. Not restored.
Provenance via international antique trade (label P&S International Trading Co., Amsterdam) and ultimately in a private collection.
