Silver Maliënkolder beugel purse by M. Fortuin, made in the Netherlands in 1917, 70 g, 833/1000 silver, dimensions 1 x 8 x 12 cm, with decorative perches on the frame, a working push‑button clasp, and an inner initial inscription “G W”; origin Schoonhoven, Netherlands, in good used condition with signs of wear.

Description: A beautiful chainmail frame purse, with graceful decorations on the frame and equipped with a attachment eye on the frame. On the inside of the frame an initial inscription is applied: "G W". The purse opens and closes with a well-functioning snap button mechanism.
Origin: Schoonhoven, Netherlands
Silversmith: M. Fortuin (active 1905-1928)
