Object Description:
Splendid Jardinière (table planter) in the Louis XV / Rocaille style, dating to the late 19th century (Napoleonic III period). The piece features rich decoration with volutes, acanthus leaves and floral patterns typical of the French taste of the era.
The outer body is made of silvered metal with a beautiful antique patina. The piece is complete with its original inner liner in zinc, essential for the integrity of the set.
Condition report
The object is over 100 years old and carries the normal signs of time that verify its authenticity:
Damages: No missing pieces and no structural breaks.
Wear: The silvered surface shows natural oxidation and the inner zinc liner shows traces of rust and limescale due to use in the period (contact with water), but it is perfectly solid and functional.
