Impressive mortality/death assemblage plate with two trilobites of the genus Asaphus, completely natural and exceptionally well preserved. These kinds of pieces, where several specimens are fossilized together, are highly prized for their scientific and aesthetic value, as they capture a real moment from the Ordovician marine past.
Each trilobite, 4–5 cm, preserves a clear morphology, with a well-defined cephalon, thorax, and pygidium.
The plate, 18 cm, shows a stable and homogeneous matrix that enhances the presence of both specimens.
