Description from the seller
Technics ST8044K
What makes this tuner special is the transition phase between analog and digital: it features a traditional analog tuning knob for the real radio feel but combines this with a clear digital frequency display and LED signal meters. Thanks to the active servo lock technology, the tuner stays firmly on the chosen station without drifting. It is an extremely reliable device whose minimal height of only 7.5 cm makes it perfect to fit in a compact hi-fi stack from that golden era.
Specifications:
Bands: FM, MW
Tuning: Analog with digital frequency display
FM Tuning range: 88 to 108 MHz
Sensitivity: 1.2 µV (FM)
Signal to noise ratio: 70 dB (FM)
Distortion: 0.3% (FM)
Selectivity: 60 dB (FM)

Denon DVD-1400
The Denon DVD 1400 is a versatile "universal" disc player from 2003 that at the time impressed with its broad support of formats. In addition to standard DVDs and CDs, this device can also playback high-quality audiophile formats SACD and DVD Audio. The player is known for its excellent video and a very natural-sounding stereo output, which made it a popular choice for both movie and music enthusiasts. Although in terms of speed and menu setup it now feels somewhat dated, it remains a valued component in vintage hi-fi setups because of its sturdy and refined analog audio outputs.
The Denon and Technics work perfectly together.
