Collection of 3 Vintage Greek Educational Maps of Asia (1950s–1960s & 1995 Reprint)

A fascinating collection of three vintage folding educational maps of Asia, published in Greece. These maps were staple teaching tools in Greek schools during the mid-20th century, known for their vibrant lithographic colors and charming mid-century cover illustrations.

The lot includes:
-"Mixed Map of Asia"
Publisher: Ioannis Kampanas, Athens (Lekka 25).
Period: Circa 1950s.
Featuring a beautifully illustrated cover with an Orientalist theme (Japanese-style bridge, pagoda, and figures in traditional dress). This "mixed" map combines geophysical and political data. The back cover lists the full series of maps available at the time.

-"Asia Geophysical"
Publisher: N. Alikiotis & Sons, Athens (Aristeidou 6).
Period: Circa 1950s/early 1960s.
A classic monochromatic/sepia-toned cover featuring a globe, a steamship, a steam locomotive, and early propeller aircraft, symbolizing the era of global travel. Part of the "Whole World" series.
