Jacques Villégier - Le boucher. 1998

There was, at that time, a butcher at the end of my street. I invited him one day to pose for me for fun. I did well because he retired 5 years later!

Jacques Villégier is a French advertising photographer:
"It was the dance photo that set me on the path. For about ten years I travelled from studios to theatres." A portion of these images was acquired by the National Library.
He was a member for 10 years of the Explorer agency and published in many national and international journals.

This print was made with a Hasselblad camera and printed on smooth pure cotton paper, which gives it that inimitable depth and velvety finish.
