A Chinese brush pot, Bitong, probably Zitan wood, and it also bears its characteristic features. Traditionally used to store caligraphy brushes. Extravagantly decorated with detailed deep-relief carving, a small piece is missing. Popular since the Ming Dynasty, with refined examples from the Qing Dynasty.
Height 17 centimeters, and notably heavy at 1500 grams, probably Zitan wood and possessing all its characteristics. The bottom and top are exceptionally smoothly polished.

Een Chinese penseelpot, Bitong, waarschijnlijk Zitan hout en het heeft ook de kenmerken ervan.  Traditioneel gebruikt om kaligrafeer penselen in te bewaren. Uitbundig versierd met gedetailleerd diep reliëf snijwerk,  een klein stukje ontbreekt.. Populair sinds de Ming dynastie, met verfijnde voorbeelden uit de Qing dynastie.
Hoogte 17 centimeter, en bijzonder zwaar 1500 gram, waarschijnlijk Zitan hout en heeft ook alle kenmerken ervan. De onder- en bovenkant zijn uitzonderlijk glad gepolijst.
