Jaeger Swiss Art Deco-style travel clock – folding case – in working order

Vintage travel clock signed Jaeger, of Swiss origin, with a design inspired by the Art Deco style. A piece dating from the mid-20th century (c. 1940–1960).

The Jaeger brand is historically associated with Swiss watchmaking and the collaboration that led to Jaeger-LeCoultre, and it is common to find clocks from this period signed only as “Jaeger”.

It features a folding metal case with a gold and red finish, designed to protect the clock during transport and to be used as a desk clock when opened. Dial with stylized numerals and the indication “Swiss”.

The clock is in working order at cataloging time.
