Clock Empire Copper - 1750-1800

Enamelled white with black Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals along the outer edge for the minutes (indicated every five minutes: 5, 10, 15, etc.).

Two elegantly worked, gilded hands with an openwork pattern, typical of this style period. There is also a simpler, dark hand visible, probably for the seconds or a date function.

The inscription "à Paris" points to manufacture in Paris, at the time a major center for the production of luxury timepieces.

The timepiece is in good condition but needs to be checked.
