The figure at the top depicts a young musician. This bucolic and artistic theme was very popular at the time. The dial is white enamel; there are a few scratches and a bit of aging. Orologio da tavolo (o da camino) tipico della manifattura francese del XIX secolo periodo Luigi Filippo. È realizzato in bronzo finemente cesellato e dorato. La lucentezza suggerisce una doratura al mercurio. La figura sulla sommità rappresenta un giovane musicista. Questo tema bucolico e artistico era molto amato all'epoca.
