Group of four bronze bracelets from the Viking era
Circa 10th–11th century AD
This group comprises four open-type bronze bracelets, three with a stem of flat cross-section and one with a body that is slightly rounded on the outside and tapered ends.
In Viking times, bracelets were worn as symbols of wealth and status. They often served as personal adornment and could be given as gifts or as a sign of loyalty and friendship.

Provenance: Private collection of antique art of the United Kingdom, formerly acquired on art markets in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States from collections dating before 2000.
