A Willem III (reign 1849-1890) sewing table with lid and mirror, made of solid blackened oak with walnut wood on the inside, is offered. This table, produced by the Horrix firm from The Hague, features so-called contoured edges and rests on a four-spant leg with swivel wheels. The Hague furniture maker Horrix is among the leading furniture manufacturers that the Netherlands knew in the nineteenth century. This offered sewing table was produced around 1870.
Dimensions: 74 x 52 x 38 cm (h x w x d).
Brand: Horrix.
Production period: second half of the 19th century.
Country of origin: Netherlands.
