Description from the seller
A refined and elegant silver-plated coffee pot, dating to the early–mid 20th century, executed in a clean, architectural form with subtle Art Deco influence. The body is of faceted cylindrical design, complemented by a domed, stepped lid with a central knop and a well-shaped, angular spout that balances both form and function. The piece is fitted with a turned ebonised wooden handle, providing both contrast and practicality. The hinged lid opens smoothly and sits correctly, indicating careful construction. The underside bears a maker’s mark “S F” within a shield and “VIKING S” alongside, with the number “20”, denoting a good quality silver plate. Condition is very good, with light surface wear and minor signs of age consistent with use, but no structural issues. A stylish and usable piece, equally suited to modern or traditional interiors, and an excellent example of functional decorative metalware of the period
