Shepard Fairey a créé l'œuvre Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité pour montrer mon soutien à la France après les attentats terroristes du 13 novembre 2015, qui ont eu lieu juste avant l'installation Earth Crisis à la Tour Eiffel. 
Cette œuvre était très importante pour l'artiste en tant que symbole d'unité pendant un moment sombre et tragique. Obey a été ému de voir que l'art et le message ont inspiré tant de personnes en France et au-delà, et elle est restée l'une de mes images les plus demandées depuis sa création.
