Tripod cup "Jue" China Song-Yuan era
Subject reproducing the shape of Jue pouring vessels from the Shang dynasty
Resting on three blade-shaped feet, the belly adorned with archaistic taotie masks and archaic friezes
A handle embellished with a bovine head on one side.
Under the belly, an inscription is visible, engraved in the bronze.
Bronze with a black patina oxidized to green
Dimensions 15 x 16 x 7 cm

From a French private collection formed in the 1990s
Tripod cup "Jue" China Song-Yuan era
Subject reproducing the shape of Jue pouring vessels from the Shang dynasty
