Armchair - Director's chair - Canvas, Beech

Beautiful vintage director's chair, a classic of functional and versatile design. Models of this kind were produced in various periods, between the '60s and the '80s of the 20th century, like the object we present today. The mother inspiration comes from the mid-20s, with the famous folding chair by Hannes Meyer, president of the Bauhaus movement, precisely for the interior of co-op. It features a robust beech wood frame treated for the exterior, a beautiful patina enriched by authentic signs of time, double blue and beige striped canvas, removable and interchangeable, via removable iron guides. The thickness of the chair when closed (with a single very easy movement) is 16 cm!!! Very comfortable, contextualizable, and iconic. We have polished it and nourished it with natural beeswax, with descriptive images provided. It will, as usual, be carefully protected for its journey to its new home.
