A 27‑piece Dutch silver collection of vintage tableware, jewellery and miniatures in Srebro pr. 800, 833 and 925, dating from 1930–1980, including a neobo rbaroque tea strainer, a decorative cake server, 12 smooth spoons and 6 niello‑decorated spoons, a Siam Sterling bracelet, modernist cufflinks, an agate brooch and a marcasite basket brooch, plus a Dutch silver toy bicycle miniature, with some items showing minor wear and a loose rear wheel or dent in the strainer.
Description from the seller
1. Tableware (Silver fineness 800 and 833)
• Tea strainer: Dutch silver (fineness .833, “lion with a 2”), neobaroque style with traditional domestic scenes.
• Cake server: Very decorative, lacy, probably of European origin as well (Germany/Netherlands).
• Teaspoons: A set of 12 smooth teaspoons (probably fineness 800) and 6 decorative teaspoons with dark enameling (niello) on the handles.
2. Jewelry and accessories (Silver fineness 925)
• “Siam Sterling” bracelet: A classic from Thailand (former Siam) made using niello technique (black enamel on silver). Depicts deities from Buddhist mythology.
• Cufflinks: Two pairs in a modernist/scandinavian style.
• Agate brooch: Large, rugged setting with a natural stone.
• Basket brooch: Delicate jewelry set with marcasites (those shiny little stones).
3. Miniatures and curiosities
• Bicycle figurine: A silver miniature (so-called Dutch silver toy) depicting a cyclist on cobblestones. A very popular collectible item, it has its own assay marks.
